Who’ve thought our wonderful neighbours to the West would have an NDP government (OK they're back to a Conservative Govt. NOW!!! :) and Saskatchewan a conservative one?

This is a wonderful story of how the NDP conquered the vast territory of Alberta, one Saskatchewan farmer at a time!

of a man from Weyburn of the East

the smell of the oil refineries
the penguins downtown all in rows
the Calgary Tower looked down in a glower
our hero shrugged off his woes

now Combine was feeling nostalgic
the crowns, Co-op, and the NDP
he yelled, “I will change it, yes we’ll rearrange it”
he’s show them the life they should lead

shortly before his arrival a bright young lass caught his eye
a good place for a lonely young farmer so he offered to buy her a rye
